A Claimer

Please pardon anything I say here that may sound impersonal or without compassion! For I do love and always try to be filled with compassion.

There are basically two attitudes of people who are contacting me right now:   (1) Those who love me (which I appreciate so dearly) but who, as they say, are "so disappointed" and want to "save" me.   (2) The other attitude comes from those who don't love and are on the attack. 

But, what is amazing is, NEITHER have actually read my presentation, neither my book nor my power points!  Some "say" they did, but two things tattle that they really did not:  (1) They ask me questions that I have already answered in the material, sometimes at length!  (2) They NEVER address my research itself, my discoveries or conclusions. It is evident that when they "say" they read it they probably just SCANNED it, if anything at all!   And I labored intensely for years trying to make all these things clear; I wish I could describe how frustrating it is for them not to read, for them not to study my research, and yet charge me!

Actually, there is a third group:  There are those who did read it and have thanked me, saying that, because they've "never seen that before," they yet must digest it (it's such an emotionally charged subject), or they readily accept it because they've seen it truly is God's Word that I have shown, that the Holy Spirit actually DID speak in the first century on the subject after all … and spoke favorably!  

As always I remain a conservative!   As for me, I believe in the plenary inspiration of the Holy Scriptures!  So much so that I have made sure I searched the scriptures with grave attention to learn the actual truth on the subject!  I speak only where the Holy Spirit has spoken.  So, with the scriptures as our authority, the bottom line on this subject is that those who continue to object must answer, "What are you thus going to do with the Holy Spirit using psallo to translate zamar in the second half of the first century?  Don't ignore that please!  That is a must!  What are you going to do with that?"  So, because He did I am compelled to ask, mustn't we then take up the conclusion to the whole matter with no one else but the Holy Spirit?

You noticed on the motif, this is “A Defense of the Gospel!”  My precious friend, while I don't plan to ever use the instrument, I MUST defend the Gospel against any and every addition man may make against it ... just as Paul did against his brethren's "position" on circumcision.  Today, whether it be someone's "position" on "feeding orphans", or "no cooperation," or his "position" on "instrumental music," if he makes it a salvation doctrine (either direction) and will split God's one church over it, I must stand up and defend the Gospel of Christ!   "Salvation commands" - that's Gospel territory!  And you don't add to the Gospel ... not without facing dire consequences (Galatians 1:8-9).  And that is, with prayerful determination, where I must stand ... exactly where I have stood the last 37 years and longer.  If you too are conservative and love the word of God as I do, you rejoice that I remain so resolute on the Gospel of Christ!  (And if you notice here on our web page you see we have placed here on page one even a beautiful NEW Power Point for teaching the precious Gospel of Christ.)

How grateful I am for those honorable brothers who continue with me, knowing how this issue has nothing to do with our work of teaching how to win souls in the blood of Jesus!

Thank you for reading my words here.  Now, all I ask is for you to read my words in this book and these power points, read what I have written and labored over!   Please see the HOLY SPIRIT did speak on the subject in the FIRST century, even in the SECOND HALF of it!   You will see as I have that what He did has not been preached or written about among us, not anywhere that I can find.   And because of that I think you will also come to realized as I have that we were actually led array on that particular subject many, many years ago by brothers, some very sincere and kind, others coercing and intimidating.  And when you actually see here the Word of God, you too will come to realize that many others have merely been repeating what they were told, what they were taught, years ago.

Please know as I love the Gospel, I love you too ... dearly!  And I am fighting for souls!  For yours and mine!  And for our freedom in Christ!
